Xi’an Shiyou University (XSYU) was founded in 1951, which is the only university in northwest China characterized by petroleum and petro-chemistry. The university stands at the High & New-tech Development Zone of Xi’an. The university enrolls students from 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in China. Currently the enrollment of postgraduates and undergraduates is approximately 16,000 students, besides; there are more than 270 international students and over 10,000 continuing education students. Since the founding of the university, the XSYU has awarded degrees to over 100,000 qualified graduates.
